AC automatic regulator

AC automatic voltage regulator is a power automatic voltage regulator that provides voltage stability function for AC voltage in the power supply environment. It is mainly used to convert voltage into stable voltage for the operation of electrical equipment in some unstable voltage environments.


AC automatic voltage regulator is a power supply equipment that can automatically adjust the output voltage. The function of AC automatic voltage regulator is to stabilize the power supply voltage that fluctuates greatly and does not meet the requirements of electrical equipment within its set value range, so that various circuits or electrical equipment can work normally at the rated working voltage as an auxiliary power equipment.


A.Working principle of communication automatic voltage regulator:

AC voltage automatic regulator adjusts the voltage within the specified input range to stabilize the output voltage within the specified range of electrical equipment.

There are many types of AC automatic voltage regulators, and the main circuit works in different ways, but basically (except for AC parameter automatic voltage regulators) they are input switches, sampling circuits, control circuits, and voltage regulation circuits.

1. Input switch: As an input switch for a voltage regulator, an air switch miniature circuit breaker with current limiting protection is generally used.

2. Voltage regulating device: It is a device that can regulate the output voltage. It can increase or decrease the output voltage, which is the most important component of an automatic voltage regulator.

3. Sampling circuit: detects the output voltage and current of the automatic voltage regulator, and transmits the changes in the output voltage to the control circuit.

4. Drive device: Due to the weak control circuit of the control circuit, a drive device is required for power amplification and conversion.

5. Drive protection device: a device that connects and disconnects the output of an automatic voltage regulator, usually using relays, contactors, or fuses.

6. Control circuit: Analyze the detection type of sampling circuit. When the output voltage is high, a control signal to reduce the voltage is sent to the driving device. When the output is output, the driving device will drive the voltage regulating device to reduce the output voltage. When the voltage is low, a boost control signal is sent to the driving device, and the driving device adjusts the output voltage through the driving voltage regulating device to stabilize the output voltage and achieve stable output.

When the output voltage or current exceeds the control range of the automatic voltage regulator. The control circuit will control the output protection device to turn off the output to protect the electrical equipment, while the output protection device is normally connected to the output, and the power receiving device can obtain a stable voltage supply.
